Now its been 2 months since our break up and we seem to be limbo back in the same pattern of chatting each day, meeting up quite often. As such, the activities centering on the process of dating would involve doing fun things together such as going to the movies or the beach with the central theme always trying to get to know the other file more. By this it simply means that both individuals close their doors to the advances of another person. I had no experience dating in high school and was eager to make up for over four years of lost time during college. If you live a long distance apart or one or both of you are too busy, then, yes, if you both think of it as dating, you're dating. Unlike married couples -- or even cohabitating, unmarried couples -- should a boyfriend and girlfriend breakup, there are few -- if any -- financial or familial troubles to navigate. What things turned you off?.

I'm new to dating again so am curious as to how often is 'normal' for seeing each other? My guy and I are used to our own space but do enjoy each others company when we hang out and see each other sometimes once a week and sometimes every couple of weeks. What do you consider 'too often' and 'clingy'... What if you chat via text or phone every day but see each other once a week or every other week... I need some dating advice please! I think it really depends on the two of you. I know, I hate when people respond to a question like that in this way, but it's true. The best advice that I can give as a guy, go with what feels right. If you want more physical time together, go for it. The age of texting has erased the degrees of separation that allow for a person to be missed. However, I think that if your talking all the time either way, there's no reason that those conversations can't happen face to face. Relationships are all different and you need to play the field you're in.
